Home base · Ten years here

Cannes has been our home water for ten years

We know every berth, every light window and the sea conditions through the year. Port Canto and the Vieux Port are five minutes away, so when a broker needs images before a viewing, this is where it gets done.

The Riviera circuit starts here: Antibes, Monaco and Saint-Tropez. One crew, one fixed quote and one set of deliverables, whatever combination of ports the day needs.

Two ports, two atmospheres

Port Canto, east of the Croisette, is the deep-water marina. The largest yachts moor stern-to with open sea on three sides. The horizon is clear and the light direct: this is the port for exteriors, hull profiles and drone sequences.

The Vieux Port sits in the heart of town, framed by the old quarter and the Suquet hill. For lifestyle images with the town behind, deck shots and interiors opening onto the aft deck, this is the place. We often work both on the same day, depending on the schedule and the light.

Sainte-Marguerite · Saint-Honorat

The Lérins Islands, the classic Riviera backdrop

Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat lie two nautical miles off the Croisette. Close enough to reach in twenty minutes, far enough to leave the town entirely behind.

Pine-fringed anchorages, exceptionally clear turquoise water and a horizon free of buildings. For running shots, sailing passes and low drone sequences it is the reference setting on the Riviera, and most major brokerage shoots in the area have used it at least once.

Esterel · Cap d'Antibes

Théoule Bay and Cap d'Antibes

West of Cannes, Théoule Bay opens onto an arc of red rock where the Esterel massif drops straight into the sea. For drone work and late-afternoon profiles the geometry is rare: a yacht against ochre cliffs, with Mediterranean light on both at once.

Cap d'Antibes to the east is the opposite register: white limestone, dense pines and quiet elegance, with Port Vauban just behind. Both are under twenty minutes from Port Canto and multiply the settings available in a single day.

Questions we get asked

FAQ.

Do you cover Port Canto and the Vieux Port in Cannes?
Yes, both basins. We know every berth and work both venues at the same time during the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Can you shoot at the Cannes Yachting Festival?
Yes. We have covered every edition of the festival for ten years. Show slots fill quickly, so book in June for September.
How quickly can you mobilise for a shoot in Cannes?
Same day for urgent requests. Cannes is our home base and we carry full kit at all times.
Do you work as a superyacht photographer across the French Riviera?
Yes. From our Cannes base we shoot along the whole coast: Antibes and Port Vauban, Monaco and Port Hercule, and Saint-Tropez. One fixed quote covers every location on a given day.
When is the light best for a yacht shoot in Cannes?
Sunrise comes up over open sea to the east and lights the hull at a low angle; sunset drops behind the Esterel. Cloud is rare from May to October, so shoots are seldom cancelled for weather.
