Croatia.
The Dalmatian coast from Split to Dubrovnik, and the islands in between. We travel to the yacht with a full photo, film and drone crew.
Yacht photography and film on the Adriatic
Croatia has become one of the busiest summer cruising grounds in the Mediterranean. Its coastline is broken into hundreds of islands, so a yacht can move between sheltered channels, pine-fringed coves and open water in a single day. That variety makes it a strong setting for charter films and brokerage galleries alike.
We travel from our Cannes base for every Croatian project, with photography, film, drone and social media in one crew. We handle logistics, permits and local fixers, and send a single fixed quote within 24 hours.

Central Dalmatia, the heart of the charter season
Split is the main starting point for charters in Croatia, with Hvar, Brač and Vis within easy reach. The islands give lively harbours for lifestyle and evening scenes, and quiet bays a short run away for exteriors, water toys and swimming shots.
Because the distances are short, one shoot day can combine a harbour, an anchorage and a running sequence in open water. We plan the route with the captain around the light and the charter schedule.

Sheltered channels made for running shots
Much of the Croatian coast is protected by islands, which means long stretches of flat water even when the open sea is choppy. For drone work that matters: a yacht running through a calm channel leaves a clean wake, with limestone cliffs and green hills framing the shot.
Parts of the coast are national parks or protected areas with their own rules, so drone flights are planned around local aviation regulations and restricted zones before the shoot.
Southern Dalmatia and the Adriatic light
Dubrovnik and the nearby Elaphiti islands close the coast to the south, with the old city walls as one of the most recognisable backdrops in the Mediterranean. Yachts often begin or end a Croatian itinerary here.
Summer light on the Adriatic is clear and long. Early morning and the last hour before sunset give warm, low light over the water, which is when we schedule running and aerial sequences.

FAQ.
- When is the best time for a yacht shoot in Croatia?
- The season runs from May to October. June and September give softer light and quieter anchorages than the July and August peak.
- Can you shoot several islands in one day?
- Yes. Distances along the Dalmatian coast are short, so one day can combine a harbour, an anchorage and open-water running shots. One fixed quote covers the whole route.
- Do you fly drones in Croatian national parks?
- Some parks and protected areas have their own restrictions. We check local rules and plan every flight around restricted zones before the shoot.
- Are the files ready for charter platforms?
- Yes. Photos and films are delivered in the formats needed for charter and brokerage listings, plus vertical cuts for social media.
